Marchell Jones Jr. is a master barber whose career blends big-city experience with deep hometown roots. He first earned his barber license in Houston, Texas, in 2008, quickly building a reputation for precision work and exceptional client care. Over the years, he has earned multiple industry awards in both Houston and Parkersburg, West Virginia, and became widely known in Texas as the “Beard King” thanks to his signature beard shaping and grooming services.
In 2018, returning home was an easy decision when his father’s health began to decline. Marchell Jr. stepped back into the community he grew up in and proudly took over the family business, continuing the legacy of Marchell’s Barbershop, a longtime fixture in Parkersburg.
Today, Marchell is excited to lead the shop into its next chapter, having opened a new, larger location in the heart of downtown Parkersburg. Passionate about both his craft and his community, he is proud to be part of the city’s downtown revitalization while continuing to provide top-tier barbering services to generations of loyal clients.
